Produced in between the USA and Senegal, The Prophecy is a short film that follows the story of troubled Tabara. With the use of magic realism, this film dives deep into the psychological horror of a young black woman, who is haunted by the past of her ancestors.
Fun fact: The Prophecy was shot on digital 4k and film 35mm
"Take It or Bleed It" is a subtle critique of modern capitalism. The story focuses on a single mother who turns to her ancestor's magic to win the lottery. She accidentally summons a malicious spirit, who is not as friendly as they make it to be and who offers her a deal.
Take It or Bleed It was shot on a micro budget in Brooklyn, NYC.
